The CMS Tracker Outer Barrel System-test Software (CMSTOBSS) is a pilot project that makes use of the standard software for the CMS DAQ (XDAQ) to qualify the Tracker Outer Barrel (TOB) structures. The goal is to qualify a large number of structures setting up automatic qualification procedures. Centralized CVS repository is maintained by CMS and does contain the code for the development of specific core XDAQ applications, for the development of a dedicated Run Control, for the book-keeping and for the maintenance of the analysis algorithms.
